Post 18 options

Looking beyond Sixth Form:

At Elthorne Park we have a specialised higher education and careers team whose primary responsibility is to support students in developing the skills, knowledge and passion for their successful next step to a range of post-18 options.

We encourage students throughout KS3 and KS4 to start thinking about their strengths and interests to ensure that they make informed choices about the post-16 options. At the beginning of Year 12 we continue to provide a range of opportunities to ensure that students are able to make competitive applications for their post-18 options.

The Sixth Form and Careers team have an exceptional understanding of the array of different university and apprenticeship courses on offer and provide 1-1 support at the end of Year 12 and throughout Year 13 to guide them through the application process. Last year we had 90% of our students reach their desired university destinations, including courses in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science and Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. Below you will find a brief overview of the support we provide for students at different points in the year. For students currently studying at Elthorne Park, they will find more detailed guides and information uploaded to the 6f hub.
